BC Wildfire Response

We can’t believe July is almost over! It has flown by!

The last two weeks have been even busier than normal – two of our employees – Kyle MacDonald and Curtis Hewton – came to us on July 10 to ask if they could borrow work trucks to drive donations to wild fire affected areas – we posted to social media on July 11 – and by the end of the week, we had over 600 square feet of donations heading to Princeton and Kamloops. The following weekend, we had two more full trucks heading to Interlakes and Forest Grove. And one more truck to go in the next week or so to Kamloops. The response and support from the community has been amazing – and we are so thankful to our crew, clients, suppliers, friends, North Fraser Fire Department community, Facebook friends and more who have made this possible. We had clients show up within hours of the post with their cars full of donations, suppliers show up with skids of water and more – it was incredible. Thank you so much to everyone who made this possible – the photos here are a small subsection of the close to 100 businesses and individuals who donated items, time and directly to the Red Cross.

We are so thankful and appreciative of the incredible work fire fighters and volunteers are doing on the ground every day right now, and we are grateful to have a small opportunity to help out. Our hearts go out to the families affected by the BC Wildfires.
